Frequently asked questions.
Do I have to pay in full up front?
No, to reserve your wedding date, I require a 50% deposit up front to hold your spot. The final payment is due after the proofs are approved, and before we go to print. You can split your last payment into 1 or 2 payments, just let me know which you prefer after you pay your deposit.
I don’t know what I want, where do I start?
That’s perfect, no worries! That’s exactly why you want to hire a designer for your wedding invitations, instead of other big box shops. I work one on one with you to come up with the perfect design for your wedding invitations. Just submit a request to get started.
I paid my deposit, now what?
Now it’s all smooth sailing! After you pay your deposit/retainer to book your wedding date, you will get a contract and info sheet delivered to your email. Depending on when you book me for your wedding, I usually start designing about 4 months before. Then you will get design proofs in your email and you get unlimited edits. Once your proofs are approved, your final payment is due. Once your final payment is made, we will go into print and production!
What if I want to add on later?
Perfect! I can always add on embellishments and extra details later. When I send your digital proofs, I will include a mockup of your entire invitation suite, and I also include design elements like wax seals, vellum, and ribbon at my design discretion, and you can always add those or other on if you love them!
I have a design I like, will you copy it?
Nope! I will NOT copy any other artists work. If you know that is the exact invite you’re wanting, I can try to find the designer for you and send you to them. I do like having an idea of your invitation style, and you may send other artists work for inspiration, but not replication.
Do you assemble the invitations for us, or do we assemble them?
I assemble my fully custom client’s invitations, that service is included in the custom pricing.
Do you mail my invitations for me?
Unfortunately, we do not mail a customers wedding invitations at this time. I will fully assemble them for you, and then ship them to you to be mailed. I recommend taking a fully assembled invitation to USPS to get an accurate weight for postage.
